These terms cover the haruo.dev website: the institutional pages, the product pages and the blog. By using the site, you agree to what is written here.

1. What this site is

An institutional site. It presents my software engineering work, the products I build and keep running, and the blog. There is no signup, no login and nothing is sold inside it. The only interaction is the contact form.

2. What you may do with the content

Read it, print it, share the link, and quote passages with attribution and a link to the original page. That is what it is published for.

What is not allowed: republishing a whole text as your own, using the site's name or brand to present yourself as me or as a partner of mine, and harvesting the pages at a volume that gets in the way of people reading them.

3. The blog is not consulting

The posts carry measurements, arithmetic and decisions from real projects, with a date on every number. They describe my case, not yours: acting on them is your decision and your risk. A published number holds for the date it was measured and is not a promise of a result.

4. Writing to me does not close a contract

Prices, deadlines and scope shown on the product pages are a starting point and can change with the case. A message through the form, a thirty-minute call or an exchange of emails creates no obligation on either side.

Contracted work is governed by the signed written proposal, which carries the scope, the price, the deadline and what the client keeps at the end. Where this page and the proposal disagree, the proposal wins.

5. Products with their own terms

Tamperlens, lensub, Tradutor Regional and SheetsCNPJ are separate products, each with its own terms and privacy policy at its own address. The SheetsCNPJ ones are at /sheetscnpj/termos/, in Portuguese. These terms do not replace those.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, images and visual identity of this site are mine. Code I publish in an open repository is covered by the licence declared in that repository, and that licence is what governs the code, not this page.

7. Availability

This site is published as is. It may go down for maintenance, change address or stop existing, without notice and with no availability guarantee. Availability commitments exist in contracted products, written into the contract for that product, not here.

8. Limitation of liability

I am not liable for loss arising from use of the information published here, from the site being unavailable, or from the content of third-party sites I link to. Nothing in these terms removes a right that Brazilian law grants you and that cannot be waived by contract.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Curitiba, Paraná, are chosen for anything a conversation cannot settle, except where the law requires the consumer's own jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact

Any change to these terms shows up on this page, with a new date at the top. Questions: [email protected].

This is a translation for convenience. If the two versions ever disagree, the Portuguese one prevails.
