At an agency you talk to a salesperson, then to an account manager, then to a junior who has never seen your project. Here you talk to me the whole way, and the person answering your email is the one writing the code.
A diagnosis costs R$ 1,500 and takes seven days. A system live in two weeks starts at R$ 5,000.
How a project runs
Four steps, in this order, and what changes hands at each one.

Thirty minutes of conversation
You describe the problem and leave with a diagnosis: what can be done, what cannot, and where I would start. If the right answer is to hire nobody, you get that here, for free.

Scope, price and deadline in writing
Before a line of code: what is in, what is out, and when it is done. Whatever does not fit the deadline becomes a second phase instead of becoming a surprise.

Something live every week
You see the system working from the first week, at an address that opens in your browser. Software that only shows up at the end is software nobody checked.

In production, monitored, with someone on call
It goes up on its own, it is watched the whole time, and it falls back to the previous version without waking anybody if the new one misbehaves. If it goes down at 3am, the phone that rings is mine.
What you keep at the end
None of it depends on me sticking around.
- The code in your repository, with the whole history.
- The infrastructure in your accounts, in your name and on your card.
- Written steps for deploying, measuring and restoring a backup, written so that somebody else can follow them.
- Monthly maintenance if you want it, with no lock-in, and the system stays yours if you do not.
Where I come from
Fifteen years of engineering, counted from my first job in the field, in 2010. The last five at Chipper Cash, a cross-border payments fintech in Africa, on risk and compliance: I helped scale the team from ten to over a hundred and left as a Staff Software Engineer.
Before that, ThoughtWorks and projects delivered for clients in the United States, Europe and Latin America. Earlier, systems for courts of justice and public prosecution, logistics platforms, and payment systems processing millions of transactions.
I work in Portuguese and English, from the Curitiba time zone. I write on the blog about what I build and what I operate, with the numbers in plain sight.
What I do not do
Saying it upfront saves us both the time.
- Projects with no scope and no deadline, the kind that starts with "we will figure it out as we go".
- Deadlines I cannot meet. I would rather lose the work than promise a date I already know will slip.
- Betting and gambling, in any form.
- Pushing technology your case does not call for, AI included.
I do not vanish after delivery. If you do not want maintenance, the system keeps running without me, and the block above explains why.
